4:00 AM: Arrive in Ha Giang City, where the tour guide will welcome guests for check-in and personal hygiene in a few hours.
At 6:30 AM, prepare for the journey, and then the group will have breakfast and check in at Km0 in the center of Ha Giang.
At 7:30 AM, the guests will depart for the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Drive on undulating terrain, ranging from 800m to 1,500m in height, through breathtaking mountain landscapes and terraced fields. Stop for photo opportunities and visits:
– Bac Sum Pass, an 8km pass often compared to Pha Din Pass in Dien Bien.
– Heaven’s Gate, the twin mountains of Co Tien Quan Ba, a masterpiece of nature.
– The Lonely Tree – Can Ty, Quan Ba, along the new Quan Ba – Yen Minh route.
Lunch: Guests will enjoy local specialties at a restaurant featuring “hanging black pig, smoked beef, grilled ribs, and local vegetables.” In the afternoon, continue the exploration:
– Tham Ma Slope, an ancient slope used by locals to assess the strength of Pho Cao horses.
– 9-Khoanh Slope, a famous winding slope.
– Sủng Là (Lung Cam Cultural Village), visit the over 100-year-old traditional H’mong house, used as a filming location for the award-winning “Story of Pao” movie.
– Vuong Family Mansion (King of the H’mong) in Sa Phin, a wealthy and influential family in Dong Van in the early 20th century. Learn about the architecture, history, and culture of the Vuong family.
– Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of the country, symbolizing the strength and sovereignty of the Vietnamese people for generations.
– Northernmost Point, a scenic spot near the China border separated by the Nho Que River.
– Lo Lo Chai Village, the home of the Lo Lo people, one of the minority ethnic groups in Ha Giang.
5:30 PM: Return to Dong Van Town. Check in at Hmong Homestay, have dinner and interact with the residents.
