Itinerary

Day 1HA NOI - HA GIANG (LUNCH, DINNER)

6:00 AM: The company’s car will pick up guests at the appointed location for the departure to Ha Giang.

12:00 PM: Upon arrival in Ha Giang, our car and guide in the city will take you to have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, guests can check in and rest at the hotel.

Afternoon: The vehicle will take the group to visit either the Hạ Thành Cultural Village of the Tày people or the Thon Tha Cultural Village of the Dao people, experiencing the unique landscapes of the mountainous region and learning about the cultural life of the local people. If guests wish to visit the Thanh Thuy Border Gate, the border gate between Vietnam and China, to explore and learn about the intense border war in 1984 and 1985, it is recommended to arrange separately with the driver and guide (additional cost of 150,000 VND/person). Afterward, return to take photos at the km0 milestone of Ha Giang city before returning to the hotel.

Day 2HA GIANG - DU GIA - LUNG CU - DONG VAN (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

6:00 AM: Check out from the hotel, have breakfast, and then get in the car to explore the majestic and poetic landscapes of Ha Giang. Along the way, you will experience different emotions, from breathtaking moments to relaxation, and moments of awe – all unforgettable experiences. These include:

– The gentle Ta Mo Pass with its curves and elevations.

– The Minh Ngoc – Minh Son – Du Gia – Lung Ho route, as beautiful as love songs, is located in the Du Gia National Park where the endangered snub-nosed langur is still found in the red book.

12:00 PM: Have lunch at Lung Phin. After lunch, continue to enjoy the extremely grand and stunning natural landscapes along the Lung Phin – Ta Lung – Ma Le – Lung Cu route.

3:00 PM: Arrive at Lung Cu, where you will conquer the stone steps to reach the top of the Lung Cu Flagpole. Here, you can personally hold the national flag at the most sacred position in the country – the highest point on Vietnamese territory.

5:00 PM: The car will take you to admire the unparalleled beauty on the blissful road from Dong Van to Meo Vac. This is none other than the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. The car stops at a resting point on the pass, known as the Ma Pi Leng Heaven’s Gate, allowing you to admire the abyss along with the pristine Nho Que River.

6:00 PM: The car takes you back to Dong Van town, check into the hotel, and rest.

7:00 PM: Dinner. In the evening, you are free to explore Dong Van Ancient Town at night, savoring local dishes or enjoying a cup of coffee at the famous Old Town Café. Overnight stay in Dong Van.

Day 3DONG VAN - YEN MINH - HA GIANG - HA NOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

6:00 AM: Check out from the hotel, have breakfast, and then board the bus back to Hanoi. If it’s the right Sunday of the week, the group will have the opportunity to experience a famous market, Dong Van Market. On the way back to Ha Giang, you will visit and explore:

– Vuong Family Palace, also known as the King Cat’s Palace, has existed for nearly 100 years.

– PAO House in Lung Cam Cultural Village. This is a traditional and beautiful H’mong house that has been used to film the movie “Pao’s Story.”

– Chin Khoanh Slope, a winding and multi-level slope.

– Tham Ma Slope, historically used to test the health of horses.

11:00 AM: Lunch in Yen Minh. After lunch, continue the tour with:

– Quan Ba Twin Mountains, also known as the Fairy Twin Mountains, are located near the Tam Son town of Quan Ba district.

– Heaven’s Gate Pass and Bac Xum Slope, are winding mountain passes on the way back to Ha Giang.

2:00 PM: Return to the city of Ha Giang. Depending on your preference, you can take a sleeper bus back to Hanoi at either 2:30 PM (arriving in Hanoi at 8:00 PM) or 7:30 PM (arriving in Hanoi early the next morning).

Upon arrival at My Dinh Bus Station, the program exploring the land of Ha Giang concludes. See you again, dear guests!

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES

– Round-trip sleeper bus from Hanoi => Ha Giang // Ha Giang => Hanoi

– 7, 16, or 29-seater vehicles for group transportation and service in Ha Giang

– 2 nights in standard or 3-star hotels as per preference, double occupancy (single supplement for solo travelers). 1 night in Hà Giang city and 1 night in Đồng Văn town.

– 5 main meals, standard at 120,000 VND/meal (meal quality depends on the actual quantity consumed)

– 2 standard breakfasts as per the program

– Entrance tickets to scenic spots specified in the itinerary

– Driver and tour guide services in Ha Giang

– Refreshments on the vehicle in Ha Giang, 1 bottle/person/day

TOUR PRICE EXCLUDES

– VAT invoice

– Sleeper bus tickets for free-of-charge children; children must share a bed with their parents

– Travel insurance for foreign tourists

– Surcharge of 250,000 VND/person for foreign nationals

– Single room surcharge

– Beverages during meals, in hotels, and other personal expenses

– Tips for the driver and tour guide, not mandatory but typically around 100,000 VND/person

CHILDREN’S TOUR PRICE

– Age is calculated from the date of birth to the departure date.

– Children aged 10 and above are charged 100% of the adult price.

– Children aged 5 to 9: charged 75% of the adult price – sharing a bed with parents.

– Children under 5: free of charge (children sharing a bed with parents; additional expenses such as entrance tickets, and meals are the responsibility of the parents). The company only collects the airfare (if any) according to the regulations of airlines.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

A- COMMON DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

1/ Deposit policy to secure a reservation

– To officially secure a booking, customers need to pay a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour price.

– The remaining amount must be paid to Meditours 15 days before the booked departure date.

2/ Cancellation policy by customers

– If customers cancel the tour more than 15 days before the departure date, they will be penalized with an early cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit amount (40% of the tour price).

– If customers cancel the tour within 7 days of the departure date, they will be penalized with a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).

3/ Cancellation policy by the organizing unit

– The tour will depart according to the schedule if there are 6 or more adults in the group.

– If the group does not reach 6 passengers, Meditours will rearrange a new departure date and inform customers at least 15 working days before the original departure date. If customers do not agree to the new departure date, they will receive a refund of the deposit.

– If Meditours cannot organize the tour at the scheduled time due to unforeseeable reasons such as natural disasters, floods, wars, etc., Meditours will arrange a new departure date, and any additional costs will be mutually agreed upon.
