Itinerary
Day 1 Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van ( 150km - lunch, dinner) Overnight at Dong Van Hmong homestay

After a night of rest in Hà Giang, this morning, our enthusiastic guide and skilled driver will pick you up right at your hotel. We will begin our journey to explore the magnificent Đồng Văn Karst Plateau.

The winding road will take us through towering mountain ranges, ranging from 800 to 1500 meters above sea level. The majestic natural scenery, with steep cliffs, deep valleys, and endless green terraced fields, will leave you in awe.

Stopping at Heaven’s Gate, you will have the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of the Đồng Văn Karst Plateau from above. It feels like standing between heaven and earth, allowing you to immerse yourself in the fresh air and enjoy the pristine beauty of nature. Continuing the journey, we will conquer the famous Bắc Sum Pass with its treacherous hairpin bends and the mysterious Cô Tiên Mountain.

At noon, we will stop at a local restaurant to savor the specialty dishes of the H’Mông people. In the afternoon, we will visit some traditional H’Mông villages to learn about their unique lifestyle and culture.

Our next stop is the Vương Chí Sình Mansion, a unique architectural work that carries the historical imprint of the H’Mông people. This ancient house will take you back in time to explore the life of a former H’Mông king.

Finally, we will arrive in Đồng Văn and check in at a local homestay. Tonight, you will experience a truly special night staying with a H’Mông family. You will enjoy traditional dishes, listen to folk stories, and gather around the warm fireplace. Don’t forget to savor a glass of fragrant corn wine to fully appreciate the essence of the Karst Plateau.

Day 2 Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac ( 130km - B,L,D ) Bao Lac Tay homestay

After breakfast, take some time to stroll around the Đồng Văn Market in the morning. The early market atmosphere is vibrant with various types of highland specialty goods. You can find unique local products such as forest honey, linen fabrics, different kinds of seeds, and especially fragrant smoked meats. Don’t forget to savor thắng cố – a specialty of the H’Mông people, a pot of horse meat stew with a spicy and rich mountain flavor.

After filling your stomach and buying some souvenirs, you can walk a short distance to Đồn Cao. A small trail leads you to an ancient fortress, with imposing stone walls and gun ports facing in all directions. Imagine the heroic historical stories that took place here during wartime. From the top of the fort, you can gaze far and wide, taking in the panoramic view of Đồng Văn town and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Next, the journey will take you to one of Hà Giang’s most famous spots: the Mã Pí Lèng Pass. The winding road clings to the sheer cliffs, revealing majestic natural scenery. The Nho Quế River, a blue-green ribbon, winds gently between towering cliffs. Don’t forget to stop at the Thẩm Mã Slope viewpoint to admire the Tu Sản Canyon – one of the deepest and narrowest canyons in Southeast Asia.

To fully explore the beauty of Mã Pí Lèng, spend about 40 minutes walking to Sky Pass. From here, you’ll have the opportunity to view the entire serpentine pass, resembling a giant snake winding through the mountains. The sense of conquering the pass will bring you unforgettable experiences.

After conquering Mã Pí Lèng, you will continue your journey to Mèo Vạc and Bảo Lạc. Here, you will rest at a Tày family’s home. In the evening, you can gather around the hearth with the host family, enjoy distinctive ethnic dishes, and listen to the local folklore. This will be a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of the ethnic minorities.

Day 3Bao Lac – Tra Linh – Trung Khanh – Ban Gioc Waterfall ( 170km - B,L,D) Tay Homestay

After enjoying a rustic breakfast with local specialties, we will begin our journey to explore Ban Gioc Waterfall. The clear, cool river water will help you cool down and be full of energy.

Coming to the villages of the Tay and Nung people, you will enjoy unique cultural thresholds, from traditional stilt houses, elaborate handicrafts to special festivals. You can visit local markets to immerse yourself in the bustling trading atmosphere, enjoy specialties and learn about the daily life of the people here.
