The Twin Mountains of Quản Bạ will amaze you with their unique shape, and the H’Mông King’s Palace will take you back to the glorious past of a bygone era.

A strong sense of adventure will come when you conquer the Mã Pí Lèng Pass – one of the four great mountain passes of Vietnam. Itinerary
Day 1 Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van town (135km - lunch, dinner / overnight )

8:00 AM: Meet the enthusiastic tour guide at the pre-arranged meeting point. After getting acquainted and receiving some useful tips, we will embark on an exciting journey of discovery.

8:30 AM: Departure! The vehicle will take us through winding roads, flanked by the majestic mountain scenery of Hà Giang.

Highlights of the day:

– Bắc Sum Pass: This winding pass reveals a vast expanse of lush green terraced fields. You will have the chance to stop here to take some stunning souvenir photos.
– Quản Bạ Heaven Gate: Standing atop this pass, you will be able to admire the panoramic view of Quản Bạ Valley with its brilliant buckwheat flower fields in autumn. It feels like being in the midst of a magnificent natural painting.
– Quản Bạ Twin Mountains: These two majestic limestone mountains rise prominently, creating a unique and mystical image.
– Cán Tỷ Pass: This challenging pass, with its hairpin turns, tests the courage of drivers. However, once you conquer it, you will be rewarded with breathtakingly majestic scenery.
– Lunch break in Yên Minh town: We will stop in Yên Minh town to rest and enjoy local specialties.
– Thẩm Mã Pass: This winding pass with steep cliffs on both sides is known as the “King of Passes” in Hà Giang.
– H’Mông King’s Palace: We will visit the palace of the H’Mông King to learn about the culture and history of the H’Mông people.
– Check-in at a H’Mông homestay in Đồng Văn:  After a day of exploration, we will arrive in Đồng Văn and check in at a H’Mông homestay. You will experience the daily life of the local people.
19:00 – 19:30: Gather around the warm fire, enjoy a cozy dinner with local specialties prepared by the H’Mông people. Don’t forget to try some corn wine – the “happy water” of the H’Mông, to fully savor the mountain flavors.

Note: The itinerary may change depending on the weather and actual conditions. However, I believe this will be a memorable and enriching trip.

– Participate in a local market: If possible, visit a local market to explore the daily life of the locals and shop for unique highland products.

Day 2 Dong Van town - Ma Pi Leng pass - Du Gia village ( 110km - breakfast, lunch, dinner / overnight )

8:00 AM: After a restful night in Dong Van town, start your new day with a hearty breakfast. On weekends, Dong Van market is an ideal destination to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the highland market, enjoy local specialty dishes, and shop for unique souvenirs.

Highlights of the Day:

– Sky Ticket: Don’t forget to prepare your Sky Ticket to freely travel by motorbike on the winding mountain roads and explore the majestic beauty of the Dong Van stone plateau.
– Ma Pi Leng Pass: One of Vietnam’s four most beautiful mountain passes awaits you. The awe-inspiring landscape with steep cliffs and winding rivers will leave you speechless.
– Hmong Villages: Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit traditional Hmong villages. Stop here to explore the daily life of the locals, enjoy the unique Hmong dances and music, and learn about the rich culture of the Hmong people.
