When visiting Ha Giang, travelers not only explore a region blessed with natural beauty but also immerse themselves in a vibrant cultural land where 18 ethnic communities coexist harmoniously. The area is characterized by unique festivals regularly organized, offering distinctive culinary delights. Joining a Ha Giang group tour by car, specifically exploring Du Gia and the Dong Van Karst Plateau, visitors will discover a Ha Giang that is exceptionally beautiful and uniquely its own.

Day 01HA NOI - HA GIANG

19:00 – 20:00: The car will pick you up at the agreed location in the Old Quarter, the Opera House, or Tran Quang Khai Street.

21:00 – 22:00: Pick up guests in the area of the Foreign Language University Gate (Pham Van Dong Street), Ciputra Urban Area Gate (Pham Van Dong Street) for the departure of the Hà Giang tour. Spend the night on the sleeper bus.

(*) Note:

– For customers arriving at Noi Bai Airport close to the departure time, the sleeper bus may pick you up at Kim Anh Intersection (at the beginning of the Hanoi – Lao Cai expressway, about 3km from Noi Bai Airport, around 22:00).

– In provinces and cities (outside Hanoi) where evening buses to Hà Giang are available and arrive in Hà Giang early the next morning, customers can book their own bus to Hà Giang. In the early morning, our tour guide will pick you up at the agreed location to start the tour program.

Day 1HA GIANG - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - DONG VAN (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

04:00 – 04:30: Arrive in Ha Giang, sleeper bus takes you back to Homestay for temporary rest, morning personal hygiene and breakfast at Homestay.

07:00: Our car and tour guide in Ha Giang will come to pick you up to start the trip to conquer the Ha Giang Stone Plateau. On the way stop at the following points:

✔ Check into Ha Giang at Km0 of Ha Giang.

✔ Bac Sum slope, take photos and admire the scenery at the 8km long slope.

✔ Quan Ba Heaven Gate takes pictures of Co Tien Twin Mountains, also known as Quan Ba Twin Mountains and panoramic view of Tam Son town from above.

✔ Take photos at Lonely Cay – Can Ty, Quan Ba on the new route Quan Ba – Yen Minh.

Noon: Lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon continue to visit with:

✔ Tham Ma Slope, an ancient slope that people used to assess the health of pack horses.

✔ Fox Street with typical H’mong houses with stone fences around the houses.

✔ Chin Khoanh Slope, a famous zigzag slope

✔ Visit Sung La village (Lung Cam Cultural Village) to visit the ancient house of the H’mong people with earthen walls – the place that was used as a backdrop for filming the film “Pao’s Story” 2006, directed by Ngo Quang Hai, adapted from the short story “The sound of the harp behind the stone fence” by writer Do Bich Thuy has won 4 Golden Kite awards.

✔ The Vuong family mansion (Meo King’s Palace) is located in a valley of Sa Phin commune, this is the richest and most powerful family in Chau Dong Van in the early 20th century. The group learns about architecture, art, history , culture of the Vuong family (Meo King family).

✔ Visit Lung Cu Flagpole – the starting point of the Fatherland, the point with the highest latitude on the map of Vietnam.

18:00: Return to Dong Van town. Check in to hotel, rest, have dinner.

In the evening, the tour guide will walk with you to see Dong Van Old Town, which has existed for nearly a century. You can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at Old Quarter Café (at your own expense). Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 2MA PI LONG - NHO QUE RIVER CRUISE - DU GIA (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

Morning: You have breakfast at the restaurant. If it’s on Sunday morning every week, you can visit Dong Van market, famous for its bustling vendors selling colorful clothes of the H’Mong, Dao, Tay…

08:00: Check out of the hotel and get on the bus to continue the journey with:

✔ Conquer the 16km long Ma Pi Leng Pass connecting Dong Van to Meo Vac, also the most beautiful section on the road called Hanh Phuc Street

✔ Take photos with the majestic beauty of Tu San Alley (also known as Ma Pi Leng canyon or Nho Que river canyon) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m – where the terrain is divided Vietnam’s deepest cut.

✔ Cruise on the Nho Que River: Take a boat up the Nho Que River to Hem Tu San, Vietnam’s deepest canyon located on the Nho Que River. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passes through Tu San Canyon running along the foot of Ma Pi Leng pass (excluding the cost of motorbike taxi to the wharf and boat to Nho Cinnamon, package 300,000 VND/guest).

Noon: Lunch at Meo Vac. After lunch, you get on the bus to continue your journey to Du Gia, a land that is a nature reserve with beautiful, poetic villages, waterfalls and beautiful stilt houses. On the way, see the beautiful scenery of Lung Phin, Lung Ho, Mau Due, Other Villages…

Afternoon: You arrive at Du Gia to check in, the group goes to the waterfall and walks here.

Evening: You have dinner with the locals at the local house here.

Day 3DU GIA - UPPER ROAD - LONG KHUY CAVE - HA GIANG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Morning: You have breakfast, pack your luggage and get in the car to explore the road with majestic and poetic beauty called Duong Thuong. Next, we will visit Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village of the White Mong people in Lung Tam commune, Quan Ba district.

Noon: Visit Nam Dam village of the Dao ethnic group with traditional houses. Lunch here.

Afternoon: You visit Lung Khuy cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Giang. If the weather is favorable, the group will have some time to soak in the cool and fresh stream on the way back to Ha Giang city.

17:30: Return to Ha Giang. Guests have dinner at restaurant. Then depending on your pre-registered choice

You, your car and tour guide will:

(*) With the option to return by Limousine (seat): The car takes you to the Limousine to board the bus back to Hanoi. Around 00:00 – 00:30 arrive in Hanoi. End tour.

(*) With the option to return by sleeper car or Cabin: Car and guide will take you back to the Homestay for personal hygiene and rest. At the appointed time, the car will pick you up at the Homestay and take you back to Hanoi. The next morning, about 03:00 return to Noi Bai airport, 04:00 am return to Hanoi. We will have a car to transport you back to the Old Quarter center and the Opera House or to the nearest point for you on the drop-off route (if notified in advance).

You should bring: insect repellent, common cold medicine or separately prescribed medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
If you are a vegetarian, please bring additional vegetarian food to ensure your taste
Any services on the tour that you do not use will not be refunded
The tour guide has the right to re-arrange the order of attractions to suit the conditions of each specific departure date but still ensure all attractions in the program.
In case there are 6 or fewer passengers on the departure date, the driver can also be a tour guide. These are experienced drivers who understand the route and local culture.
This is a mountainous tour and usually takes a small vehicle, so we recommend that you do not bring bulky or oversized luggage and do not bring a lot of luggage. You should bring a backpack instead of carrying hard suitcases.
There are options to sleep at a homestay to increase the experience of the mountain tour. It is recommended that you bring personal items to use while staying at the Homestay (if necessary).
At the end of the tour, we will drop off guests at a single location, the Hanoi Opera House. Please take a taxi to your hotel or accommodation.

(*) General note on local hotel services: For mountainous routes, we classify hotels as follows. The classification is only relative to classify services.

Homestay: is understood as a residential house, usually a stilt house, in some places there will be communal sleeping, in some places it will be arranged into separate spaces. But the common features are community breaks and shared restrooms.

1-star hotel: is understood as mini hotels and motels
2-star hotels: are medium-sized hotels, rated 2 local stars
3-star hotels: are beautiful hotels in the area or are rated with stars according to regulations
4-star hotels: are beautiful and outstanding hotels in the area
5-star hotels: are hotels that must be granted a standard rating plate

TOUR PRICE FOR CHILDREN:

Age will be calculated from date of birth to date of departure.
Children 10 years and older: charged 100% of adult price.
Children from 5 to 9 years old: charged 75% of adult price – sharing bed with parents.
Children under 5 years old: free (children sleep with parents, incidental costs such as sightseeing tickets, meals will be taken care of by parents). The company only collects air tickets (if any) according to the airlines’ regulations.

CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION

A- GENERAL DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

1/Deposit policy to reserve a seat

To reserve a seat and officially receive guests, customers need to deposit a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour value.
The remaining amount must be paid by the customer to Meditours 15 days before the departure date that the customer booked.

2/Cancellation policy due to guests

If the customer cancels the tour 15 days before the departure date, the customer will be fined for early tour cancellation equivalent to the deposit (40% of the tour value).
If the customer cancels the tour 7 days before the departure date, the customer will be fined for late tour cancellation equivalent to the entire tour value (100% of the tour value).

3/Cancellation policy determined by the organizing unit

The group will depart as scheduled if the group has 2 or more adults
If the group does not have enough 02 guests, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and notify the customer 15 working days in advance of the departure date. If the customer does not agree with the new departure date, the deposit will be returned.
If Meditours does not organize the group’s trip on the scheduled time due to force majeure reasons such as: Natural disasters, storms, floods, war… Meditours will arrange a new departure date, all costs incurred will be borne by both parties.
