Itinerary

– Camping is scheduled mostly during midday on each day of the tour.

– Participants are allowed to bring food from Hanoi for BBQ.

– It is possible to bring either 2 motorbikes or 2 bicycles for cycling.

– Check-in points include the Cloud Valley of Y Ty and Milestone 92.

– Check-in at the Thau Springs Plateau – Chau U in Xin Man.

– Check-in at Ban Phung + Hoang Su Phi terraced fields.

– Check-in at the summit of Chieu Lau Thi – one of the two highest peaks in Ha Giang province.

Day 1 HA NOI - SAPA

At 8 am or earlier, we depart from Hanoi, and after approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes of driving, we arrive in Sapa. Enjoy the cool atmosphere in Sapa and take check-in photos while not forgetting to savor delicious dishes like Sturgeon Hotpot and Sapa Salmon.

Bring along your winter clothes and a stylish winter look to chill with Sapa. Take a break at the hotel to prepare for an exciting exploration of Y Ty the next day.

Day 2SAPA - Y TY

At 8:30 AM, we will embark on our journey to Y Ty. After passing through the Bản Khoang valley, a place where we can stop for photos or, depending on whether you choose a bicycle or a motorbike, we can unload and explore the breathtaking scenery that has never been seen on TV. The deserted and majestic road will leave you in awe, going from one surprise to another. With wide-open eyes and a fully engaged mind, you’ll capture and savor the atmosphere and beauty of this place.

After two hours of driving, we will traverse the ancient forest at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, covered in year-round mist, reaching Mường Hum. Here, we can purchase some food items such as black chicken, corn, or potatoes for a BBQ lunch.

Upon reaching the camping site, whether near the center or far from the Y Ty center, our guide and driver will prepare lunch for us. With the advantage of pickup trucks, you can explore the surroundings of Y Ty by motorcycle or bicycle brought from Hanoi, adding more experiences for the group or family.

You will travel by motorbike to Ngải Thầu Thượng, an ideal cloud hunting location in Y Ty during favorable weather conditions, capturing photos of the most beautiful terraced fields in Y Ty.

After lunch, the journey continues, with the group visiting Choẻn Thèn Park, located at the end of the Hà Nhì ethnic village, featuring houses resembling giant mushrooms.

Stay overnight at a homestay and have dinner with the H’mong ethnic people in this area.

Day 3Y TY - CUA KHAU - BAC HA - XIN MAN

At 8:00 AM, we set off to continue exploring the border region between Vietnam and China. We arrived at milestone 92 for check-in, admiring the sacred location where the Red River flows into Vietnam—a place of great significance to our homeland.

Next, we explored the Hekou border gate, the largest international border gate in Lao Cai with China. However, we did not cross into the neighboring country. After leaving the city of Lao Cai, we faced two options to reach Bac Ha for lunch.

Option 1 involved entering Coc Ly, then taking a boat to navigate the flowing river (depending on the season’s water levels). If we chose the boat journey, we would have lunch at a local’s restaurant by the river.

Option 2 was a direct route to Bac Ha, where we could indulge in the region’s famous dishes. After lunch, our journey continued towards Xin Man, presenting us with two choices:

The first option was to either cycle or ride downhill on a motorbike to the town of Coc Pai, then rest at a hotel.

The second option was to proceed directly to the hotel, park our vehicles, and embark on an uphill journey to the summit of Thao Nguyen Suoi Thau. Here, we could bring camping gear and enjoy a BBQ dinner. Afterward, we would rest at the hotel.

Day 4COC PAI - CHIEU LAU THI - THONG NGUYEN

At 8:30 AM: We depart as usual to explore one of the highest peaks in Ha Giang, Chiêu Lầu Thi. Here, we can either cycle 12km from the main road and continue on foot to reach the summit, or we can choose to ascend by motorbike. The mode of transportation will depend on the preference of our group, whether it be motorcycles or bicycles right from the start.

Following that, we can enjoy a BBQ lunch at the summit of Chiêu Lầu Thi or set up a camping site to admire the enchanting beauty of the Northeast region.

In the evening, we will travel back to Thông Nguyên at the mountain’s Homestay with a breathtaking view of the valley.

Day 5THONG NGUYEN - HOANG SU PHI - HA NOI

8:30 AM: We will continue exploring the Hoang Su Phi Valley and the scenic Hoang Su Phi terraced rice fields National Landscape by motorcycle or bicycle. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in Vietnam. If we haven’t visited Phung village before, today we will continue to visit Phung village by bike or motorcycle, and we can also have BBQ lunch there.

After lunch, we will head back to Hanoi.

6:00 PM: The tour will conclude at the office in Hanoi.

Standard Price

TOUR PRICES FOR CHILDREN

The age will be calculated from the date of birth to the departure date.
Children aged 10 and above: charged at 100% of the adult price.
Children aged 5 to 9: charged at 75% of the adult price – sharing a bed with parents.
Children under 5: free of charge (children sharing a bed with parents, additional expenses such as sightseeing tickets, meals for the child will be taken care of by the parents). The company only collects the airfare portion (if any) according to the regulations of the airlines.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

A- DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

1/ Deposit policy to secure a reservation

To officially reserve a spot, customers are required to make a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour price.
The remaining amount must be paid to Meditours 15 days before the booked departure date.

2/ Cancellation policy by the customer

If a customer cancels the tour more than 15 days before the departure date, they will be penalized with an early cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit (50% of the tour price).
If a customer cancels the tour within 7 days of the departure date, they will be penalized with a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).

3/ Cancellation policy by the organizing unit

The tour will depart according to the schedule if there are at least 06 adults in the group.
If the group does not have enough 06 passengers, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and inform customers at least 15 working days before the original departure date. If customers do not agree with the new departure date, they will be refunded the deposit.
If Meditours cannot organize the tour at the expected time due to uncontrollable reasons such as natural disasters, floods, war, etc., Meditours will arrange a new departure date, and any additional expenses will be agreed upon by both parties.

Note: The cancellation penalties above are according to the company’s regulations. We will flexibly handle each specific case within our capabilities.
